Baby Shower

Paul and I had our Couple's BBQ Baby Shower this past weekend, which turned out AWESOME!!! We had over 75 guests show up for our special day. My Mother-In-Law, Karan did an amazing job workin the grill all afternoon...she kept the hot dogs and burgers comin! We received so many wonderful clothes and toys for baby Christian, he's all set! We had many out-of-town family & friends come in for the shower, we are so lucky to have such wonderful people in our lives supporting us! Here are some pics from the festivities...

We have added some items to the nursery since our shower this past weekend and thought I'd share some pics....
Paul hung the quilt that came with bedding on the wall
This is a bouncer that we purchased with one of our gift cards (it plays music and vibrates)
Diaper Genie II
Circle mirrors and stickers that match bedding
Glider/Ottoman from my parents, Grandma & Grandpa, Uncle Sonny, and Aunt & Uncle Ganahl
Fully stocked changing table (we now have diapers, wipes, baby wash, shampoo, lotion, powder, etc) - All ready for Daddy to change baby Christian's dirty diapers!!!

Wall Letters

Paul put up the wall letters this weekend...we decided to put them between the two closet doors. I think they turned out really well! He also put up 2 picture frames which we will use for new baby pics, once he arrives!
32 Week Doctor's Appointment

I saw the doctor on Wednesday (5/6/09) and all is well. My blood pressure was perfectly normal. Protein/glucose in urine test was normal. I only gained 2 lbs. since last appt. 3 weeks ago (which is good). She checked the heartbeat with doppler and it was in the 140's....good again. She checked me (internal exam), and said that my cervix is still closed, his head is down but not "locked into the pelvis" yet. Which are all good things!
So, I have to go back in another 3 weeks and at that appt. they're going to test my blood again to check if the anemia has gotten any better. I'm just cruisin right along! After my next appt. I will be going to see her EVERY week! Since I'll be 35 weeks at that time...they like to see you every week the last month. Fun, fun! I'll post a new belly pic soon =)
