Sada Dog is so much fun!

I swear Christian has so much fun playing with Sada dog.  She seems to enjoy playing with him too!  The other night he kept running down the hall - she followed since he had her toy in his hand.  He was laughing hysterically b/c she was chasing him back and forth.  So I had to bust out the camera and snap a few shots of the two sillies.  =)

3T pjs??? Really??? Already???

I ordered Christian a couple of cotton footed sleepers from The Children's Place when they had a big online sale last week.  I paid only $2.97 each and got free shipping!  I planned on him wearing them come spring.  I decided to try a pair on last night and guess what?  They fit!  I was shocked!  He is so long that he filled them out!  So I guess I'll be buying 4T for spring/summer?  Geeze they grow fast!

Keep in mind that Children's Place doesn't carry 2T size.  They skip from 24 month to 3T so I'm guessing their 3T size is comparable to other brand's 2T?  Either way he wore 3T size pjs to bed last night.  My little man isn't so little after all.  =)

Balloon Hats, French Fries, and Sunglasses!

Author: The Presson's // Category:
These are all things that describe Christian's weekend.  Daddy made him (more) balloon hats - this time a pink one!!  We visited Great-Grandma Schrader on Saturday along with Grandma Molter and stopped to get McDonald's french fries on the way - his favorite fast food snack!   Last night we cleaned out his toy box and stored away all the little baby toys for our next little one.  While we were going through everything he came across 2 pair of sunglasses that he would NEVER wear when we bought them.  Well now he thinks they're awesome because we make a big deal that he's a "cool dude" whenever he puts them on!

We also bought a toy net for all of Christian's stuffed animals.  Paul put it up and I filled it with his furry friends.  Man - he has so many animals that thing is already full!  But once I emptied the rubbermaid tote they were in I was able to fill it with all the baby toys.  I also bought a black 2 shelf organizer for his shoes.  There was a small space available in his room - right between the door and changing table.  I searched and searched until I found something that would fit in that tiny space.  It fits perfectly!  And we bought 2 fabric drawers to go in/on the shelf.  So now we have a spot for all his shoes!  Before the shoes were just in a pile on the floor in the same space.  It also works well for his wipes and creams - easy to grab while changing him.  I love it when a good idea works out so well!

18 Month Well Visit

Author: The Presson's // Category:
Christian had his 18 month well visit this morning. I ♥ his doctor so much! She's so sweet and caring. Anyways...he now weighs 28 lbs and is 34.5 inches long!!! WOW!! He's so big!

She asked a bunch of questions and said we should start working on having him drink from either a straw sippy or regular cup by age 2 (as a goal) since the hard spout sippy cup will start to push his teeth forward. She also said that he is perfect and seems to be doing very well in all areas of growth & development. He says between 30-40 words and she said they look for 25-35 by this age so he's fine there. Yay for my little man! Christian even showed her how he gives kisses now...she loved that!

We had to answer 20 yes or no questions to screen for autism. I filled it out and right before we left the nurse came in and said he got 100% on his "test". I said "Yay! Christian you got 100% on your very first test. Good job buddy!" LOL! So yeah...no signs of autism for him.

Oh - and no vaccines either...which was nice.  Next visit is at the 2 year mark.  After that we only have to take him once a year.

Balloon Head

Christian's new favorite thing is balloons!  He loves for Papa and/or Daddy to blow them up and make animals out of them.  Then Christian likes to pop them!  I think he thinks the sound is funny b/c he laughs every time he pops one!  Silly little man.  =)

Christmas 2010

Author: The Presson's // Category:
We had a wonderful Christmas this year!  Christmas Eve we spent in Jefferson City with Paul's mom's side of the family.  We stayed at Kim & Tim's beautiful home.  Christian had lots of fun playing with Josh and opening presents.  He showed Great-Grandma Kruse how he "goes crazy" - which Grammy (Karan) taught him how to do.  It really is adorable!  He gets those little legs going and jumps all around while shaking his hair.  I did manage to get a video clip of them "going crazy" as well as one of Aunt Emma chasing Christian around the basement ...as you can see he was having a ball!

I was amazed that Christian stayed up so late - it was almost 11:30pm when he finally crashed out.  We all woke up on Christmas morning around 9am, had a wonderful breakfast, and then hit the road again.  We went straight to my parent's house for their party.  Christian and I slept the whole way to STL - a 2 hour nap is always a good thing!!!  Sunday morning Paul, Christian and I had our Christmas at home.  Santa brought Christian a play kitchen and 101 pieces of play food!!!  Paul got Rodney Carrington tickets - we'll be heading to Kansas City in February for the show.  I got a hair dryer, the new season of Grey's Anatomy, and a heating pad.

Here is a summary of what Christian got (that I can remember):

*Play Kitchen
*101 piece play food set
*Pots & pans for kitchen
*Clothes & PJs
*Camo hat & mittens
*Books
*Thomas the Train backpack
*Hot Wheels Monster Truck
*Activity Cube
*Radio Flyer Turbo Turtle
*Name Puzzle Stool
*Little People School Bus
*Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Guitar
*Movies: Toy Story 1 & 3 and Shrek 3
*Yellow Crayon Bank
*Sheets for his bed at Papa's house (they have all sorts of balls on them - baseballs, soccer balls, and basketballs)
*Corn Popper
*Little People Racetrack
*Laptop
*Jungle Track
*Basketball Hoop & Ball
*Bowling Set

I would say he's spoiled - just a little bit!  =)
