4 Month Well Visit

Christian had his 4 Month Well Visit yesterday - 10/28/09. He now weighs 14lbs 14ozs (50th percentile) and is 26 1/2 inches long (90th percentile)! I knew something was up when he outgrew his 3-6 month footed sleepers in one month. He's already wearing 6-9 month sleepers. WOW! Doctor gave the go ahead to start rice cereal, which we tried last night. He wasn't too thrilled with the whole "spoon in his mouth" thing. He looked at me like I was nuts! We have really funny pics that I will be posting tomorrow (forgot camera today). Sorry for the tease!
He got shots and not one single tear was shed. Such a big boy! =) Doctor said he looks great and to keep doin what we're doin. After a couple weeks of rice cereal, we'll move onto oatmeal, then orange veggies, then green veggies, and finally fruits. After he turns 6 months we'll start with meats. I'm going to be making all his baby food myself using our Magic Bullet! Still need to buy some ice cubes trays to store the food in. He will also still be taking bottles of formula until he's at least 1 year old. I can't believe he's already starting solids...time sure flies!
