Christian is a corn on the cob junkie!  He even got his own cob holders at dinner last night.  He knew just what to do with those...it was cute.  I had been cutting it off the cob for him to eat but thought...he has 8 teeth now, might as well use them!!!

Sooo...like any other proud mommy I had to get out the camera and snap some shots!  I also took a short video to capture the moment.

And I'm super exicted to get it!!  I have been casually shopping for a new "toddler" carrier.  I have a Moby wrap and used it when Christian was smaller - but now that he's almost 25 lbs. it's not the safest option.  I've heard really good things about Mei Tai carriers, but there are so many to choose from.  I found a wonderful resource: http://www.becomingmamas.com/babywearing-2/ 

I decided that my favorite carrier for my needs was the Kozy Mei Tai, so once I decided on this carrier I started shopping prices.  Let's just say that a quality carrier isn't cheap.  Through my searching, I found a site that sells the Kozy Mei Tai - they were on clearance today!  25% off and free shipping.  They also had a pattern available that I really like for fall/winter.

I can't wait to try it out this weekend!  Perfect timing too...we're heading to the rodeo in New Windsor, IL.   That will be a perfect opportunity to wear Christian.  =)

Brody and Kohen had their 1st & 4th Birthday Party on Saturday 8/7/10.  It was a beautiful day for an outdoor party!  The kiddos had a great time playing on the water slide and eating fruit.  =)  I got some cute pics of Brody & Christian playing on the water slide...plus a short video clip.  Kohen was running around with the bigger kiddos so I didn't get any pics of him unfortunately.

Carter Wolf's first birthday party was Saturday 7/31/10.  He and Christian were so cute playing together in the baby pool.  =)
