I can't believe in only one short month Christian will no longer be a "baby". He will be a big boy "toddler". Time sure does fly! Here's a pic of "Vintage Meathead" to take everyone back to 11 months ago when he was still so tiny and immobile.
Christian stayed with Papa & Granny Presson Thursday night and Friday. My mom picked him up Friday after work and they kept him until Sunday. Even though Paul and I missed him like crazy...it didn't even phase him that we were gone. He played hard, slept hard, ate lots and had a blast! My Dad did say that they need to baby-proof their house more. Guess he was getting into everything!? LOL! Here are a couple happy pics from his weekend stay with Grandma & Grandpa Molter:
Oh, and did I mention that Christian is standing unassisted now? Yup! I guess he's been doing it for a week or so...but I just saw him do it for the first time yesterday. He will pull himself up on something (couch, coffee table, etc) and let go! I can't believe it! He's going to be walking anyday now. I hate that he's growing so fast. =( But I'm so proud of him at the same time. Such a BIG BOY!!!! =)
11 month pics to come soon. He's turning 11 months tomorrow already!! WOW!!!
Paul and I went on vacation this past weekend to visit Vickie & Brad in Orlando, Florida. We had been planning the trip since March and Vickie was completely clueless. I got a little video clip of us walking in and the look on her face when she first saw us in their new house! HAHA!
During our stay in Orlando we did typical touristy things. Thursday night we went out to dinner at Texas De Brazil, which was an awesome experience! We left stuffed to the gills! After that we headed to Howl At The Moon, which is ALWAYS a good time! Drank 4 buckets of booze between the 4 of us. Those things are good! =)
Friday we went to Kennedy Space Center, saw an IMAX film, did the Shuttle Launch Simulator, and went on the bus tour which lasted almost 3 hours. It was educational, but the video watching got a little boring. I think we must have watched 2 videos at each and every stop along the tour. PLUS the bus ride had videos running too. A little overkill. Friday evening we headed to a winery about an hour outside of Orlando. They had live music and was a really good time.
Saturday we spent at SeaWorld. I love SeaWorld! Paul had never been so it was a good experience for him. We saw a couple of shows. The first was A'Lure The Call of the Ocean which is similar to Cirque Du Soleil style performance. It was really good! And we had to see Shamu while we were there. So we saw Believe.
After SeaWorld, we went to Pirates Dinner Adventure. It was a really fun dinner show. Somehow we ended up in VIP seating...although I have no idea how that happened!? LOL! Oh well...we had a really good time and can't wait to see Vickie & Brad when they come to St. Louis in a month. Here are some (ok LOTS) of pics from our vacay! =)
